As much as i have enjoyed smack talking the slippery jippo's over at ABC, right now most of they're silver 1oz coins only have a $10 premium which i think is very reasonable.

On October 9, 2025, China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) announced broad new export controls primarily on rare earth materials, technologies, lithium batteries, and superhard materials, but there was no mention of specific controls on silver on that date.
However, a separate announcement on October 30, 2025, by MOFCOM did introduce new rules for the export management of silver (along with tungsten and antimony) for 2026-2027, reintroducing a quota system to enhance resource and environmental protection.

The new rules for silver export management, which include a licensing and quota system, were announced later on October 30, 2025, and are set to be in force for 2026-2027. The general intent of these measures is to strengthen state management over strategic resources and ensure only qualified companies are granted export rights.
