Hey Admin, do u place the Gold Tile or is it Random Generated on the map ?

" Great Game "

( brings memories to mind of playing " Battleships " as a kid )

Also I find it fascinating watching where other members place their Pick

Im interested to know whats interesting about knowing what tiles someone else picks?..
If the initial placement of the Gold tile is random, then the initial thought would be to just hit the " random tile " button as it would - statistically - give the same chance of outcome.

Yet players choose tiles that are " in a line ", bunched together " or making a particular patterns. That is not " random distribution " The question is, why do players choose patterns, when they know that the initial tile was a random allocation ?

That's the interest. That it's showing that players think they can determine the placement of a random allocation by looking at a pattern.

It goes back to the coin toss prediction. Statistically the chances of a heads or tails on a coin flip are 50 - 50. Yet after heads coming up 6 x in a row people will bet that " Tails " has to come up next. Not true. Statistically the chances of a " tails ' coming up on the 7th flip is exactly 50 - 50, the same as every flip previously.

So why do people bet on " tails " because the " believe " that it's a sure bet that " tails " will come up next, because there have been 6 heads in a row.

So why do players believe that placing their choice of tile in a straight line, is any better than just a random tile selection ?

Lot's of scientific proof of randomness, yet people continue to predict on Feeling/Sense/Hunches, lol, the old " I can feel it in my bones "

I just posed it as a question as to why people do strange things, in random situations.

Yeah i go random without using random feature. There are also ways to know where the winning tile is but it involves alot of absinth and sacrificed infants and by the time you have the answer stkr has won it anyhow.
