Silver Price Watch

It's amazing how addictive silver can be, you don't consume it, it just sits in a safe spot. I'm addicted to putting shiny things in locked boxes that I rarely open.
Well said. It's like retail therapy, insurance, investment and acquiring wealth at a discounted rate all wrapped up in one.

That's another reason I love hand-poured bullion so much, it adds art, labour and passion to an already amazing bundle of shininess.

Soon a 1oz kangaroo from ABC will be $100. We're still waiting to see pre-order signs on their products though. Looks like they can still comfortably meet demand... But for how long?!

mostly learned from experience and remained well stocked
when distruption hit, walao...

I don't get why people buy through them.
You get get a 2024 rectangular dragon from BN for 83.05 right now. 10 bucks cheaper for a much cooler ounce.
200 bucks over a tube.
Even with postage it would be decent savings.

There's something fishy going on with ABC's pricing of the kangaroos. I've speculated before that they may have been the largest seller of kangaroos previously, and it's possible they made arrangements with Perth Mint to increase the price to deter investment. I think it's very un-Australian for ABC to price the roos $4-5 higher than maples or britannias. It can't be a matter of higher costs to them because other dealers sell them much cheaper.

people are just not well guided, after they confirmed their BUY order, they later on see cheaper alternative products lol
happens all the time, for being a fomo

Even worse that ABC's listed spot price is sometimes $3+ above spot. Imagine how many people have been caught out paying $3 more because their spot price is retarded.

I believe they have clients from different tax jurisdictions & back ground and this have impacts on their online products prices.

we have price differences all the time, for platinum products, over $100 differences etc etc same silver brand also have price differentials

I don't think that's it at all. They're the largest silver refiner in the southern hemisphere. They even refine a lot of silver and Gold for Perth Mint. ABC and Perth Mint have a deeply entrenched relationship.

But the main point is that they don't just rely on bullion sales in their store. They can afford to price gouge and be less competitive.

They aren't paying international shipping for the roos like they are for foreign sovereign bullion coins. In every way they should be the cheapest option.

Did anyone just see what just happened on the chart?
It went down over a dollar, then back up within about a 2 seconds.
That is not natural. I wish I was screen recording it.
