On FB, there's a few groups that will buy at spot all day of the week.

Hi Sandy Gooch I hope u appreciate that Lovely 1/2 oz Bar from Smithys Bullion.

I liked them so much that I brought 1 for myself, but I had to pay a bit more than Spot

Its an allocated gift. Kids over 12 seem to 'get it', younger and it is the most boring gift. They can supply their own gold, thats on them.
