Worldwide Silver Shortage?

The USA is a shithole.  It doesn't even know how to tie a shoelace.  Hell those idiots gave up silver dollars  for paper. Idiots

To be fair, so did we, so did pretty much the whole world.
You could argue the the US population was tricked, their money looks the same now as it did when it was silver, when they changed ours they completely changed our coins, it was obvious the new coins were different and people didn't care.

Does anyone remember this video? It was a little ahead of it's time but made some really good points about the declining ore grades and aboveground available reserves. To think we went from a 10:1 silver to gold mining ratio down to an 8:1 today.

Mining sulphur is a bit different to gold and silver. Most heavy gold deposits around volcano's will be deep underground. I don't know of any gold mines on active volcano's.

I did find this interesting though:

And this article talking about extracting gold from brine around dormant volcano's

I heard from a bird and perthmint isn't selling 1000oz bars at the moment, they will restart at a yet unknown time.
They can't even argue ?there isn't a shortage, just manufacturing limits of consumer product.? at this point.

I've noticed ABC bullion no longer list silver Kangaroos and Krugerrands. They used to have a "pre-order label" but now they're gone. I reckon the mints are trying to deliberately limit production and ABC need to remove the listings because they cannot guarantee delivery.

Pickings are slim at the moment. Sure if you are prepared to pay a handsome premium you can score silver. But the bog standard 1oz Kangaroos and 1oz Harrington (love them)????

My understanding of economics is that with demand high like it is they'd be pumping stuff out??? Maybe not the Perth Mint because it's a semi-gov agency and government departments and efficiency aren't compatible (unless it's taxation... they're good at that) But the private mints? Why aren't they working 24:7 ???? Make hay whilst the sun is shining!
