For the avid Trump supporters on the forum: There's been a fair bit of controversy recently that has caused many to take a step back and question Trumps intentions and servitude. When you believe in someone so much we have the tendency to look past certain actions and behaviours. What would need to happen for you to pull back and say "This guy isn't what he claimed to be"?

Arguments could be made for both sides of everything he does... But there does seem to be a high level of coping and speculative justification going on. The fact is, I don't actually know what's going on; My assessment still relies heavily on beliefs... But it is getting harder to believe he is what he says he is.

I'm AUS, but do have an interest in US politics because of the outsized influence that the US has on world markets/reactions.
I followed closely what Trump was saying to the US public to get himself elected ( I won't go into detail as he said A LOT )
Trump made a lot of promises to the American people. I say " promises " because Trump specifically used words such as " I will do " " I'm going to " " I can assure u I will " etc. I read that wording as making promises to the American people.
Just my opinion/point of view that Trump has done some of what he said & he's asked for acknowledgement of that, yet he's " backpedaled " on a lot of what he's promised & other promises he made are seemingly being completely ignored.
I have always worked with " words are the saying what I will do, actions are what I have actually done ". A LOT of Trumps actions do not align/match with what he promised the American people as he was trying to be re-elected to President.
My opinion of someone may change based on the outcomes of their action, compared to the words they spoke.

If they had anything real on Trump it would be out by now, instead they just put out another obviously bullshit story about some birthday letter Trump supposedly wrote Epstein.
