Trump declares war on Iran

Our tax payer subsidised war products has been going to uae for a while.
It's never a problem when u spend OPM ( Other Peoples Money IE, TAXPAYERS )

Maybe they send a few aging ( badly ) Collins Submarines & see if they can get a few shoots in before they retire :ROFLMAO:

Watch as the sub sinks a ship. The hilarious part is when they explain that using a $1 Million torpedo on an ANCHORED Ship is a " realistic target ".

It's interesting that Iran has quite impressive capabilities in the field of underwater unmanned systems. This video demonstrates an electric underwater drone powered by lithium batteries called "Azhdar". Judging by its characteristics, this device is almost silent underwater, which in itself makes it an extremely unpleasant target for detection.

According to available information, the drone is capable of reaching speeds of 18-25 knots, operating on batteries for up to four days in patrol mode, and traveling more than 600 km at low speed. For an unmanned underwater vehicle of this class, these are quite serious indicators, especially considering its potential application in narrow sea straits.

That's why there are rumors that the IRGC structures are likely preparing such devices for use in the Strait of Hormuz. This strait is currently perhaps the most sensitive point in global energy logistics, where even relatively small and inexpensive means can create serious problems for shipping.

The inconvenient reality for large fleets has already been around for quite some time. So it's not necessary to close such narrow points with large surface ships or try to influence them in some other way.

Therefore, it's quite possible that the real threat to shipping in the Strait of Hormuz will be posed not so much by the remaining Iranian ships, but by the mass use of relatively cheap and quiet underwater vehicles like "Azhdar".
