I used to say to people "these few dollars won't matter in the long run." But now it's "20 or 30 dollars won't matter in the long run."
Is it possible that in a collapse of comex/lbma western price discovery system, the paper price of silver goes to zero before another takes its place?
 
Moral is down. Many of us have been holding metals for a long time and are playing the long game. I know some of you held through the 2011 highs and are still holding. If we were here just for the investment, this would be an investment forum - not a precious metals forum. Sharp corrections like these are humbling and bring us back to the reasons we entered into the metals in the first place. Sure, investment was a factor but holding something tangible (and shiny) with zero counterparty risk was the ultimate appeal to me and many others. The fundamentals haven't changed, the risks of system have only deepened, and more people have begun seeking safe haven assets than ever before. Unless you were planning on selling your stack 2 weeks ago, regain your clarity and align yourself with the bigger picture again. Personally, I hope silver gets beaten down to $50 and trades sideways for a few years. I would love to see premiums drop and silver become more available to take advantage of a subdued price. I hope some of you are enjoying this moment the way I am.

It was only a couple of months ago we were watching silver rise above $100AUD. It was once incredible to see silver reach $30 after years of being held down in the 20's. We haven't just seen prices rise, we've witnessed a complete reshaping of the markets. The Silver we once knew is dead and a new Silver has been reborn. These times are just the growing pains of Silver's evolution, as silver sheds it's skin to evolve into what we know it's about to become.

Hey Stackers. What a wild ride so far. I'm hoping it settles down for a while. I need to catch up on sleep

Bloke at work is sad. He bought a couple of ounces at the top. I keep telling him, that if silver went to $1,000 his meager stack wouldn't be life changing. He should see this as a gift.

Personally, this has been a real learning opportunity.

But dang. Boring the last few months have not been.

The last 18 months or so have been " Interesting " :unsure:

But with the right Mindset u can turn what is seen as a curse into a " Blessing "

Believe in ur plan, why u built ur stack. This Bull Run is shaking off the unbelievers.

We still have a few years to go for the coming " Financial Chaos " to play out.

I'm so grateful that I'm not a forced buyer or seller in todays crazy market. My plan has always been to sell my stack piecemeal for spending money when I retire. The recent spike forced me to look at that plan again and to have a good think about it. Additionally, seeing the drama's people and dealers are experiencing tacks on well with my preference to learn from others mistakes
