Silver Price Watch

A few pages back in this thread has covered a bit of the MIC silver consumption. I have never seen any evidence for 500ozs or 15kg of silver used in a cruise missile, or any other missile for that. But the MIC would consume a decent amount of silver, whether it be directly or indirectly. The team at the 'Silver Academy' were meant to do a report that outlined the MIC consumption but that kind of fizzled out. If you can dig up any information on this, that would be appreciated.

It would appear that The Silver Institute is a captured entity that intentionally under reports or completely disregards certain demand fields. It's just a shame that's all we have to work with... But either way, the supply and demand fundamentals are still very grim with a 200Moz deficit.
I get some good info from - www.GATA.org - they provide a lot of reports & info on Gold/Silver & they always give the sources of their reporting.

Do they have info pertaining to the MIC and consumption of silver in missiles?
I'm not sure where I read about the supposed 15 Kg of Silver per missile. it wasn't that long ago, maybe a month or 2. I don't find it hard to believe though.

Silver is the absolute best material for advance electronics. In the right enviro it won't corrode & is the fastest transmission for elect & data. Fiber optic is faster but way to fragile for missile use. I have read that some of the latest advanced missiles can pull an evasive maneuver approaching 60 g. That is massive force.

Given the size of some of these missiles & that they are PACKED with electronics, I don't find 15 Kg to be totally unbelievable. But I am talking about the largest & most advance missiles. Smaller & older missile technology would certainly have much less. But even the latest US advanced Artillery Shells are packed with electronics for control/guidance/sensors. Silver is apparently the best material. U would think copper would be ok, but it seems that elect/data transmission is slower, but given the speeds/performance required from these advanced weapons that small elect/data transmission lag is enough that Silver is mandatory.

With the amount of advanced electronics in modern military equipment ( planes, tanks, ships, drones, communications & even the gear an ordinary foot soldier now carries ) the MIC consumption must be very large. If the consumption amounts are near or over 200 million oz/year, every $ on an oz would make a difference.

Yes, you are correct about the silver consumption in the cruise missiles, except it is not 15 kg of its total mass, but more in the area of 16kg. Cruise missiles are old technology.

Hi STKR, I did find this doing a bit of searching. It's not the article that I initially read but it does match what info I read in a previous article.

Again, all of these are speculative, but over time & with some leaks here & there, certain aspects of military specifications do leak out & accumulate over time.

Just 1 more little piece to a very complex puzzle

Hi Silver Soul, I just came across this article. Not the 1 I initially read but does match up with what I had read previously.

Over time little snippets of info do leak out from the MIC ( Military Industrial Complex ) over a period of time ( often years ) these small bits of info accumulate & a picture of what is involved/happening appears.

I'm not saying they are 100% correct, but they do add to the overall knowledge base

For sure. But this is old news.
Sorry. I must tell myself to stop being an idiot with decades of knowledge and listen to the new.

I posted this not that long ago from CPM Group.

I agree totally. Old news. But old news adds to the totality of info that accumulates. Knowledges is about building on a foundation. But every time u find some rot in the foundation u have to dig it out & replace it with new knowledge.

This is an ongoing & never ending process. I have been wrong so many times. But I don't let it suppress me. I change with the new & move forward. Being wrong is not the end. It's just a chance to update & move forward.

The key is to acknowledge that u are wrong. Accept the new knowledge. Integrate the new knowledge & update urself.

Damn, life is hard.

But u have to live it or u perish. I'm 63 yrs. Sadly a lot of friends have perished along the way.

But I take on that challenge every morning when I wake up. Little things can help along the way.

I have found " Silveroos " I'm happy about that. Hopefully I can make a friend or 2. Gold/Silver is a great topic. I love it. I just hope that we all continue to prosper & have some happiness in our lives.

But I do fear that some darker times are approaching. Connecting with fellow/friends can be helpful.

This is the exact approach I like to take. Recognising your biases and how it impacts your world view is also important. Most of the time we believe things but don't actually know. I like to keep an open mind to all possibilities but apply logic and reason to reach probable conclusions. We don't know what we don't know.

" We don't know what we don't know ". So true. If u can recognize that u don't know everything & pull back, maybe, just maybe, u won't get sucked down with the crowd.

I don't know what is coming. But I have some Gold/Silver to hopefully make it to the other side of the CHAOS that is barreling towards us.

😞

The neocons love kaos come on get smart... puppets are being string pulled.
Yes, the neocons do love their usual/standard kaos.

But I was talking more about true chaos. Eg, full scale war between multiple countries, civil war ( possibly in multiple countries ), true breakdown in supply chains that causes mass starvation. Hard to imagine the outcome of 1 or more mega cities ( 10 - 15 - 20 million people ) that is cut off from food/water for 1 - 2 weeks.

That is the type of Major Chaos that can bring even a civilized country down.

It's been a while & memories fade, but the 20th century saw well over 100 million people slaughtered -
WWI
WWII
Stalin
Mao
Pol Pot
Rwanda
& a dozen minor wars that killed10's to 100's of thousands

that's not kaos, that's CHAOS

SILVER Open - For quick reference I use " MarketWatch " Silver continuous contract.

Silver opened up strong, now at - $37.42 USD ( up $0.33 USD )

With Trumps tariff turmoil looking likely to continue it might be a good week for the shiny stuff 😁

EDIT: I used AUD when it should have been USD.

Thnx for posting this mate. Much appreciated getting the info.

DAMN these people ( Blackrock, Vanguard, etc ) are fucking EVIL :devilish:

Only real thing I have is that with the current pricing of Gold/Silver, my current holdings makes up more the 50% of my net Wealth.

Just sad that 99% of the general population hold no Gold/Silver ( wedding ring excluded ) & have no clue/care of what is coming. I talk to people when I can, but they have no interest/care about these topic's because - my life is way too busy to think about things like that 😞
