Like everyone, I'm always looking to reduce my bills. I have been with exetel for my internet for years and my bill had risen from $59 to $89.

The last rise was the last straw for me and I have now changed to Flip internet on a $48 plan for the 1st 6 months then it reverts to $65.90 per month. So in the first year I'll save over $360. They also have a referral plan where you can give out a code and after 6 referrals your internet becomes free!

My referral code is: RFVJ https://flipconnect.com.au/nbn25

Anyway, if anyone else has money saving ideas, please post them here.

The customers royalty no more, just go for the most competitive ones.
Go to which Banks that offer for the lowest costs.
All are just services you pay for.
Some provide for zero fees etc.

I always service my own vehicles (oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter ... etc). It's really not that hard and there's plenty of YouTube videos to guide you.

I only buy second hand Japanese vehicles with low kms. Even good brands like Toyota have some not so reliable engines. So you still need to do some research.

I see a guy at the gym who never does any exercise. He always heads straight for the showers. I see he drives a self contained camper van. I assume he lives in the van and saves a packet on housing costs. Probably not for everyone, but I'd do it if I were in my 20s or even 30s.

I buy a lot of fresh produce from farmer's markets. It's generally a lot better quality and organic. It's probably 50% cheaper than supermarkets if you get the right sellers. I made a good friend with an organic vegie grower and try to buy all my vegies from him.
