Rare and Collectable Gold Bars

I didn't want to start a thread for this little pineapple so here is the best place I think.

Im not sure this is gold, I'd be surprised if it is, but I don't know what it is, it's not marked, it's really heavy weighs 45 grams and I don't see much gold cos I prefer silver, but that looks gold to me.
It was something that had been sitting on a shelf at my Nana's house my whole life, I'm assuming she got it on one of her trips to south east Asia in the 70s, I got scissors and rubbed rhe bottom to see how easily it marked and it did very easily with just gold colour underneath.

Question is, was there unmarked gold pineapples being made in Singapore or HK in the late 70s? lol

Forgot pics, I'll go to the jewellers tomorrow and get them to rub test it, I just went to BN yesterday, won't be back in to XRF it for a good while.
Most of Nana's Jewelry was fake, some 9k gold. so I would be surprised if it's gold, but I don't know what else it could be.

Yep rare stuff gets the juices flowing around the PM markets. I have a half once peidfort silver round of Ron Paul when he was campaining for the US presidency back in 2012 from memory. 5 was the total mintage because of a technical issue in minting them. Amazingly I was offered $8000 AUD for it from a yank, and I turned the offer down :) I'm not sure if I have done right or wrong but the peice in my hand is worth shitloads more sentimentality to me than any $ value offered. Ron Paul could have changed America for the better. Alas it now drowns in debt.
