Maybe PM's are having a bit of a pause, which would be a good thing I think, given the strong recent gains.
A pause to wait for more news, which maybe the FOMC meeting. If they do drop interest rates by 50 points, as a lot seem to be pushing for, that may give the PM's the impetus to make another move up in price.
The mood of the articles I'm reading seems to be a " Wait & See "![]()
True Global Crisis :- Banks are closed. Riots in the streets. Breakdown of law & order.I won't be completely excited for silver until we see a real physical shortage. We're a few years away from that point, I believe. I also think we'll have a global crisis between now and then, and it's likely the markets will be shocked like they were in 2020. Good idea to stock up with some cash and be ready for an event like that. For as long as price discovery is driven by the paper markets, the price of silver will continue to remain irrational.

Mate u don't need so much cash. U need to be self sustainable. If the real SHTF moment arrives, u need to be self sufficient for a period of time. 2 big if's in this situation. If the " Electricity " stays on & if the " Water " stays on u can sustain urself. If u can hunker down at home for 2 -3 weeks when SHTF, u will be in a pretty good position. Then ur Gold/Silver stack comes into play.
Most people will start starving after 3 - 4 days. If u can hunker down & stay out of sight/mind for 2-3 weeks at home, the worst will have past. I always have enough canned/dry foods to last 3-4 weeks. Bid risk is electricity & water. Water is the worst. When nothing comes out of the tap & the toilet doesn't flush, shit just got real serious, literally.
I hope it doesn't get to that, but as a good boy scout :- be prepared.
Just a minor skirmish then.I wasn't referring to SHTF scenario but I do have preparations for one. I was meaning a shock to the markets like during 2020. A crisis like the GFC, COVID or cyber attacks. Not SHTF but more like 'Shit Hit The Markets'.
And you know, prepping food and supplies etc is important but only if you can defend it. Otherwise you're prepping for the guy with the gun or the gang of Africans with machetes![]()
