I looked at Nostr a long time ago. I was not impressed. Maybe it's gotten better since then, but I haven't found the motivation to investigate again.
 
When I tried it, the user interface was not ... mature. It wasn't obvious how the platform worked. It looked like a bare bones Twitter/X, but not everything worked the same and there wasn't any helpful guide to figure things out.
 
I just looked into it.I think the idea is good as it is decentralized and such.My only problem is that in order to pay someone or to get crypto you have to register on one of the exchange and do ID verification...there is gonna be another way.I will ask around.

There are heaps of videos on youtube about it but yes most not really helpful..almost like you need to figure it out yourself..just click here and click there 😁

And there is the private key which needs to be used to sign in to the various apps...It does not seem private anymore to me.
