So here it is, a lovely Maria Theresia 1 Thaler in shiny uncirculated condition. This is the restrike version, dated 1780 but unknown which year it was struck.

I'm not a full bottle on these so when you say a restike are they faked? Strike from an old die in modern times? Or have no numismatic value and are spot bullion?

This info below is from the Numista link in my opening post. They were still striking these after Maria Theresia’s passing in 1780 and kept minting them with the same 1780 date long after she was gone.
