Ok, so here's a little thread for the older stackers that went through the boom and bust cycle of silver ten years ago.
Do you remember the 2011 Koala 1oz coins? Initially, it was chaos to get them but in the end, 910,480 coins were struck and "declared" as the official mintage.
But did you know, only 10,051 x 10oz coins were struck which was the third lowest mintage of the 10oz Koalas.
Sadly, the 10oz Koala coins were only made for the years, 2008 - 2015.

Remember Bullion Bourse? Sure you do, they sold great coins at very good prices; they were always getting in coins that many of us were unfamiliar with.
A good example was the 2014, 1/10oz gold Koala coin with Chinese privy. BB had trouble moving them, it seemed like no one wanted those little Aussie struck coins and, they were so disliked that only 3,591 coins were struck.
Worse still - Try to find the mintage on Perth's mintage pdf's; it will do your head in because the 1/10 gold Koala's are mixed in with the silver nomenclature under the title of "The Australian Silver Bullion Privy Coin 2011 - 2021"
So for some fun reading check the link.
