Covid ecconomy, how long can they sustain this?

what are you thoughts, how long can governments keep the economy closed off with lockdowns?
the bar for ending lockdowns raises every day. April next year says WA Premier 90% vaxed which no country has achieved.
70%-80% vaxed says NSW in late oct. Vic, god knows what their plan is, qld is the same no one really knows.
apparently downloading a tracking AP last year was going to end lock downs which it it has no done. the bar keeps raising, some new Bullshit strain gets pumped by media, starts all over again.
the economy is kicking over ok (if you dont look below the surface) due to Iron ore but those prices are not long term, and china is not reliable.

So how buggered is the economy in a few years due to this flip flopping and uncertainty in your opinion? they keep patching it up so it manages to last another round.

Politicians are so disconnected from the real world that they have lost all sense of economic effects.

Instead of opening up Australia seems to be getting more restrictions. They keep moving goalposts on when the will allow the economy will open.

The global economy is buggered. There's no way around it. It's only a matter of how long. Better buy some hard-assets.

I don't think there are any economic or social considerations.  The focus is entirely on getting people vaxxed and compliant.

Whether the benefits for their masters is purely pharma profits or some other dystopian social outcome is not clear yet.

The media presents that every politician and party at state and federal level is 100% behind these actions.

There is no end in sight!
