I withdrew thousands but that's nothing new because I pay for most things in cash. Ever since I learned how fractional reserve banking works I've minimised my involved in the scheme. Plus, I like watching the newer generation squirm everytime I pay with cash. When they hold out the terminal, I tap it with cash and say "beep".

And that's the reality. Shops who say it saves so much time going cashless simply view the fees as a necessity of doing business. It doesn't have to be that way and cash is the solution.
