Re Advertised price.
I drive to Brisbane from Noosa to a dealer as they had 98% of spot buyback price.
I get there and I'm quoted 94%
I said we have laws regarding advertised price and pulled there website up to show live price they had advertised.
He then said yes I could point you to all the fineprint but how about Ill do 96%
So I took the little win but he also divulged that it had to be a lower % as all they have done for the last few weeks is have buybacks and they were trying to minimise the margins and dropped the buy back %
So always check before selling back to a dealer and even at 96% it was better than I could get anywhere else.
