Been offered these two chains. Total weight is 541g at 10 karat.

Seems to be only about $22,231 at melt value.

Not sure what sort of premium gold chains of this type add to the value?

The guy is asking a lot more than melt so I'll offer slightly over melt and leave the offer with him.

Yes a gold buyer would offer spot -5% so spot is a fair offer.
