Due to Israel's / Trump's war and the subsequent closure of the Strait of Hormuz, it looks like we're in for some bad times ahead. Australia is almost completely reliant on fuel imports, so will probably be hit harder than other countries.

Man they are a dense bunch, What happened to successive planning. I’m more worried about the next generation not understanding the knock on effect due to the frog in boiling water effect. 🤔
AUS Farmers have turned to expediency at the cost of self sufficiency. AUS used to have some of the best farmers in the WORLD, but they have fallen for the quick money trap.

When I was a kid ( late 60's, into 70's ) even then farmers had a Diesel Tank ( or 3 ) for the farm that would last them 6 - 12 months. Now they get their 2 week - 1 month quick delivery.

Fucking Stupid GOV has 30 days of Fuels 🤡 too busy spending ur tax $ rather than securing a buffer that would sustain the country thru the sort of shock that is hitting us now 👿

Most people will feel the real shock when ur GARBAGE is pilling up, uncollected, on ur nature strip. The rats & crows will feast 😂

WHO u gonna call ?

The worst part of all this for me is that there isn't anyone actively trying to harm Australia specifically. That is, there isn't a nation setting the ground work to invade Australia. Because if the government of Australia has allowed energy security to be this bad when the math is actually pretty simple, imagine how bad Defence is. Exhibit one - Submarines (fun fact. It was the Australian Navies Submarines that kept Indonesian in check during the East Timor Crisis)

EDIT - Long story short. We all have to prepare for our families and our selves on the assumption that the Australian government isn't going to deliver on any of their obligations to us. If they do, awesome. If they don't?

I like to post the quote from former USA President " Ronald Regan ". I think the quote is equally applicable to AUS & our Government.

Regan was speaking seriously - this was not a Joke o_O

The nine most terrifying words in the English language are "I'm from the government, and I'm here to help."

The same applies in AUS. If the Government ( at any level ) is involved in ur life, u are in REAL DEEP SHIT !

😟

Australia has been happy to sell it self out to any body who is willing to pay, including our enemies. and we wonder why are so fucked lol, we have created a Just in time economy, businesses dont hold stock any more, they rely on drop shipping direct to the customer which relies on fuel to delivery every single item. rather than having inventory that was delivered to the store in bulk.
Plus we sold our farms to over seas investors and developers to turn into a fucken Housing estates lol we barely keep up at the best of times.
We are a greedy country and the regular man does not care. so we dont have anything.
We learnt nothing from covid about having back up plans infact we got used to the limit stock thing and its now expected, which is why are a Just in time economy. One problem arises and its no longer arriving just in time.
the regular Joe on the street and business owner learnt nothing from covid, those farmers should have known better, IMO like fuck me, farmers used to have stock piles of fuel. I know this as I had family in farming industry and they learnt from previous fuel crisis's like in the 70's and late 80's they always had fuel just in case, not Just in time, this new generation of farmer clearly didn't learn from covid. dont rely on the system to deliver it just in time. Im in business you need to have stock on hand more than ever. especially when most of this shit isnt coming from Australia as we make nothing here any more. as we sold our selves out for cheap shit from fucken communists. lol

100% " Just In Time " is the strategy for the " Perfect World ".

A World where nothing goes wrong. A world where nothing breaks down. A world with no Plan/Contingencies. That's a World that's stepping thru a Mine Field with a blindfold on.

Well it looks like that World just stepped on a landmine called " IRAN " & it's blowing up in our faces.

Everyone is focused on " OIL ". It's the 2nd - 3rd - 4th - etc effects that are really going to hurt. Those effects, like not enough Fertilizer to go around, not enough Sulfuric Acid ( 45% of sulfur comes out thru the SOH, makes sulfuric acid, a CRITICAL component of 1000's of chemical processes that underpins own way of life )

These effects are just now starting to ripple out across the world. They won't spread evenly but they are going to impact everyone in some way. U CAN NOT remove a component of the Industrial Machine that drives this world & expect it to run smoothly, if at all.

The SHIT is happening in the Middle East right now. When that SHIT hits the World Wide FAN, everyone will get SPLATTERED to some degree.

:devilish::poop:

the world didnt step on a land mine called Iran, the power players with in the worlds governments rug pulled us, This is the problem Its all bullshit. this is just part two of the covid thing.
as I always say, china, USA, Russia, Israel and all those UN fuckers are all in on it.
every one picks fucken sides but the problem is they are all the enemy

If USA wanted to finish that war they would Nuke Iran, no one would come to Iran defence if they did that. NO ONE,
this is the same play Russia is playing In Ukraine on their own people. This all keeps citizens under government thumb when they are on their knees
BUT No they want this shit dragged on and so does every fucken world leader, its helping them get more power, we as citizens will completely rely on government. that is what everything is about.
they created this mess Just in time economy world wide starts to fail, and they gave us allot of money for selling our selves out and giving up our self dependency During covid and since. This is just part of the rug pull that takes away everything they gave us and replaces it with government dependency, and its all sides doing this.
They dont even care about looking like the good guys any more and thats very clear to see and on both sides, yet idiots still find ability to support their favourite corrupt world dictator in these bullshit wars, when it is so clear they are all working together to fuck over their citizens for complete and utter government reliance, run by a one world government which they are all part of via their UN and WEF mates, organisations they are all apart of.

you will own nothing and be happy

Enough with the naughty words Jason or im reporting you.
Village cadres are important agents for the state yet disciplining them has been difficult. There are few disciplinary tools that can easily hold them to account. Prior to 2018, Party discipline did not apply to non-Party cadres. Legislation was ambiguous in relation to these grassroots agents and had to rely heavily on legal interpretation. The impact of the cadre evaluation system on village cadres, who are not considered to be public servants on the state payroll, was limited. This situation has changed since 2018. The party-state has consolidated and institutionalized ways in which grassroots cadres are checked and disciplined. Instead of relying on policy regulation, which had been the dominant disciplinary method since 1949, village cadres are now fully subject to Party rules and state laws. These changes have been accomplished through the application of three measures. First, village Party secretaries are to serve concurrently as village heads, and members of village and Party committees are to overlap, thereby making them subject to Party discipline. Second, village cadres are now considered to be “public agents” and are on an equal legal footing with other state agents. Finally, a campaign waged by the criminal justice apparatus cleaned up village administration and prepared it for upcoming village elections in a new era.
