Thnx for posting. Very informative. If even the average Chines citizen is rejecting the Digital Yuan ( CBDC ) that tells me that a CBDC is a Gov Scam that even a generally subdued citizenry knows it's not " Money " ( really currency ) & is just about Gov control.

ANYTHING that the Gov is involved in I find to be suspect. The higher the level of Gov involvement, the more suspect you should be, in my opinion.

Gov involvement in Interest Rates, Education, Housing, EV's, Energy & many other areas, leads to poor/bad outcomes for anyone that gets trapped into these Gov schemes/scams. ( eg, after 4 years u have a degree that is potentially worthless now, or in a few yrs & u are stuck with multiple $10,000's of Debt before u even earn ur 1'st $ all because of Gov involvement in Education Debt market ).

The latest example of Gov scam/thievery is the push for Capital Gains Tax on UNREALISED GAINS. So u pay TAX on a monetary gain that u don't ACTUALLY have the money in ur pocket/account. To me it's just outright theft/fraud.

Another reason to hold PM's, and sail with them regularly on poorly maintained boats.
