Ugh, why is it always the weirdos who do so well.
First it was the bitcoin bros and their Lamborghinis, now it’s the gold bugs sitting on top of their hoards and cackling with glee.
The price of gold has gone through the roof recently, as the next chart shows.

If i sat on my hoard of gold it would be considered a suppository unfortunately. Prefer silver as it isnt worth much so it somehow is more attractive. If only it didnt tarnish.

Reflecting on archive footage from World War II, I understand why Trump is eager to pursue land acquisitions. It's not just about the locations themselves; it's primarily about access to strategic metals and oil. The depletion of commodities on U.S. soil following both world wars has made the country vulnerable to shortages of essential metals in the event of another major conflict that they can see coming and planning. Just my take on things
