US debt gone parabolic

Just accepting the system is fucked, and the US needs the system to continue to be fucked to survive. Wow. That's like a meth addict convincing themselves to stay addicted because ripping off the addiction band-aid would be too painful. This 'Death spiral' approach is what the world adopted when we began Quantitative Easing. Precious metals appear to be the only safe haven at this stage. Everything will be inflated to infinity then eventually implode.
I agree that an Implosion is most likely for the USA. Trump's " BBB " might just be the spark that lights the fuse of a TOTAL Financial explosion.
I'm in AUS. I'm hopeful that our society will hold together. I have some Gold & Silver as insurance against a possible bad outcome here
America is currently the greatest Magician in the world. They conjure money ( really currency - Gold/Silver is real money ) out of thin air. I heard a figure a few days ago. I haven't dug in to find out how accurate it is, but seems believable.
The figure I heard was that the USA is creating $78,000/second in new debt. That is a staggering amount
I just wonder how long they can keep up the illusion that the USA is solvent. I multiplied that figure out & was close to $2.5 TRILLION/year. Seems about right.I just watch an interview with Lyn Alden. I have seen here reporting before & she's also written a few very well received books, so I do listen to what she says. She also gets to the point & will back her views with accurate data.
The interview was " USA's unstoppable Debt Train ". In summary she said that not only was the USA debt train now unstoppable but Trump's " BBB " has pushed the train throttle to 100% & he may have even broken off the handle for the emergency brakes
If the train hits the side of a massive solid mountain or goes over the edge of something like the Grand Canyon, the outcome is going to be VERY BAD for a lot of people not something I want to happen/see but it seems to have become inevitable. Now it's just the Timing.
