A thread to discuss emerging AI technologies and and threats or benefits they may post to society.

China opens training base for humanoid robots in Shanghai The robots will be trained to perform various tasks, and the collected data will be sent to developers for optimization. Looks like a robot resort

Bot does not tolerate another hacker bot, it was oily
they, the bots in charge of securities will cut the intruders to pieces, and dismantled them
instead of bloody, it will be oily

They only observe the normal human, those without robotics parts

This will be an interesting battle! Like beta v vhs and plasma v lcd. China sending a stern message to the West. "We can do it better " The USA is in decay.

AI is on the brink of revolutionizing our world in ways that will rival the transformation from wood fires to modern electricity. The battlefield landscape is about to change dramatically as autonomous weapons outmaneuver and outclass aging military units. Those who are first to adapt will reap enormous advantages, and the race is undeniably on. Forge alliances now, or risk oblivion

Another excuse for falling behind: OpenAI accuses DeepSeek of stealingThe company claims it has evidence China’s DeepSeek used its model for training, the FT reports.OpenAI has found signs of "distillation," which it believes came from DeepSeek. The tech giant declined to provide details of its evidence. Instead, it promised to work with the US authorities on the issue.Firstly, the Russians "stole the design" of hypersonic missiles from the US; now the Chinese stole AI elaborations... victim mentality?
Oreshnik and DeepSeek - these two guys are driving the Empire totally nuts.Hurts SO bad to be left behind both in the tech war and the hypersonic war.

China launches another neural network.Major marketplace Alibaba presented its Qwen2.5-Max model. It claims to outperform ChatGPT and DeepSeek in many ways, while still having access to the internet and being able to work with up-to-date data.It can also generate photos and videos (this feature is not yet available) and write code.
