Ah ok, I thought you might have been referencing another time in history.

It seems the push to $5000 was mainly from the AUD/USD falling. I'm honestly surprised the USD has been able to maintain it's strength over the past couple of years.

Crypto is a bit of a shit show casino and should be treated as such, but something that's always bothered me is the price of Ethereum being higher than the price of Gold. Happy to say this is no longer the case with the Gold price being almost double Ethereum at the moment.
