Lately I've been buying up silver jewelry for under or at spot at markets, FB, Ebay .. etc. Seems like a lot of the sellers aren't really aware of the silver price, but I guess that will change at some point. A lot of what I buy is stamped .925 sterling, so I have to factor that in too.

As a bonus I get to give it to my wife.

I was scouting marketplace for bargains and there were a few jewellery pieces under spot, but then I realised if I organised a time with the seller to pick them up and drove over there, I would be better off just buying some silver coins from a dealer for the amount of effort it would take. If I was already out and about and just dropping into an op shop or antique shop that I was passing by then it makes sense.

I get them posted to me. If I had to drive around, it wouldn't be worth it.
