Pecans

Just a random post.

I eat " Keto " diet, so look for things that follow that.

I love AUS Macadamias but they are expensive. Pecans are lower carb than Macadamias.

So I brought some Pecans to give them a try. It's a warm evening in southern AUS. So I got my Pecans in a jar, a glass of white wine & sat in my back yard, just looking at the world.

Then I made a discovery ! Pecans are the Fucking Blandest nut I've ever eaten . Shit they are BLAND. So I got some Olive Oil spray, Sea Salt & mixed it up. At least they were edible.

So a heads up. Pecans need an addition or added to something, because on their own they are BLAND !

Enjoy ur nuts ( why does that seem a little strange )

One tablespoon of chia seeds a day would put that effort to shame. And they are cheaper too.

I used Basil Seed

While we are banging on about seeds! The Clove seed has been lost in time! Its a potant healer that dates back thousands of years, and very overlooked in cooking these days.

in Nasi Bryani, there are always few cloves
