I beg to differ, the wealthy coders, doctors etc fear ai but the ultra wealthy don't. Ie bill gates because it gives them the opportunity to remove themselves further from people who were necessary to do menial task ie, cleaning, farming, cooking, logistics. If you can produce a robot capable of doing these jobs you can "reduce carbon " ie get rid of middle to lower class.
They will probably use ai weapon systems to do it as well

It fills a weak spot for despots and oligarchical systems. Human nature eventually erodes systems of control as people are not built to enact genocide and it can only occur under specific circumstances and for a short time relatively speaking.
Ai has no issues with this and can enact any order given without moral impediments.
That's why alot of smart people are attempting to block its widespread use in warfare but unfortunately it's effectiveness and efficiency will most likely overwhelm this opposition
